Non Uniform Standard 7/19 to Present | Apparel and Accessories, Product and Environmental | Design Lead

Established a creative agency to handle a spectrum of clientele needs ranging from apparel to set design, and tailoring products to provide assets to fit into a customer’s story.

• Hands on development from design concept, to pattern and specs, to physical prototype.

• Experience in a range of materials from fabrics, woods, acrylic and aluminum.

• Partnered w/ organizations and business of varying focus to pitch ideas, present concepts and execute on deliverables

The North Face 04/16 to 6/19 | Headwear and Accessories, Logowear, Sportswear | Designer (Contract)

Collaborated with active and lifestyle team segments to align fabrication such as Futurelight, details like seam sealing, and trims like segmented branding to design and develop headwear and accessories (caps, brimmed headwear, beanies, gaiters and balaclavas, technical and lifestyle gloves) to compliment and complete seasonal collections across multidisciplinary activities and align with seasonal stories

• Developed and introduced accessory silhouettes that combined active properties and modern styling to fit with companies DNA, resulting in double digit growth for Fall 19 compared to the previous year.

• Designed capsule collections for SMU projects within Logowear as well as managed ongoing collaborations for accessories

• Contributed to Sportswear development and introduced the “Mountain Sweatshirt” by providing design and assets to launch crowdfunding campaign for initial design/user feedback. Produced assets and design input for Pendleton collaboration pieces that encompassed the brands iconic Nuptse jacket and vest pieces 


Nordstrom 06/12 to 4/16 | Wallin & Bro’s, Calibrate, Rack, and BPM fueled by Zella | Designer

Concept and initial inspiration, direction for fabric print, pattern, and color palettes. Design seasonal collections: woven tops which include yarn dye, solid and textural assortments, sweaters, knits, trousers and shorts, outerwear for casual and active lifestyles. Partner with cross-functional teams to allocate, sample, fit, cost and engineer garments. 

• Transitioned Wallin & Bros brand from 60 to all doors. Offering increased product assortments, and partnering with buying team, led to team being awarded brand of the year with the Nordstrom product group (NPG) for 2013

• Concept and launched BPM, a men’s active line and new category for NPG men’s sportswear. Designed and developed into products to sit with current external brands and offer an in house active line with assortments ranging from compression to outerwear

• Fall 2014 -Designed and developed first outwear collections for Calibrate which included technical lifestyle 3L shells, insulated, and light-weight pieces 


Eddie Bauer 07/10 to 02/12 | Designer

Recruited to shift product assortment toward a larger demographic, design and managed dress and casual trousers, jeans, shorts and outerwear collections. 

• Fit and finish development for denim and non denim programs applied to casual programs

• Developed signature details and internal components for casual programs

• Hands on building and rigging environments to completely immerse cross functional partners, and external marketing in lifestyle and story of the season.


Levi Strauss and Co 01/09 to 06/10 | Docker’s | Designer

Transferred to the khaki side to push design and apply knowledge of denim finishing to non-denim casual trousers, shorts, and outerwear. Hands on concept builds and produced visual tools for cross functional partners 

• Produced first seasonal collection that went global (FA10) extending domestic SKU to include Asia, Europe, and Latin America

• Aligned fits to Dockers fit monikers, and utilized developed fits to produce a khaki program, which became the Alpha Khaki program.

• Managed assistant and temps with seasonal workflow 


Levi Strauss and Co 08/04 to 01/09 | Levi’s Red Tab, Men’s, Boy’s and Silver Tab | Assistant/Associate Designer

Assisted in research for trend and style, partnered with the designers to come up with seasonal offerings and responsible for trim development encompassing shapes, materials, pattern and finishing. 

• Developed tools for internal teams to easily cross reference dual/ triple sourced trims and fabrics to streamline workload

• Designed prints utilized in programs for detail as well embellishment, which lead to repeat styles

• Fashioned components of collaborating companies (Jordan Brand x Levi) to produce product that embraced both company’s identities 


Fox Racing 02/03 to 08/04 | Designer (Freelance)

Designed and collaborated with designers and product leads on men's and women's casual and active lines. Provided market research and design elements, assisted with sketching, print development, and spec packages. 

• Developed printing techniques and hand applied decals from equipment used to decal moto gear

• Developed and styled product for runway exhibitions
